
MY STORY

Büşra Ece Yurdakul was born on May 21, 1993 in Istanbul. She completed her education life in Istanbul. Her interest in visual arts started at a very young age and She started to make her own small works of art using different materials. Although it took some time to add this tendency, which was seen only as a hobby by her family at first, to her education life, her older brother, who studied fine arts, became her biggest supporter in this process. Afterwards, She won her first difficult exam with the support of her family with her success in Yeditepe University Fine Arts Faculty. Yurdakul, who graduated from Yeditepe University Fine Arts Faculty Fashion and Textile Design in 2018, started her career in the industry by doing freelance graphic design and illustration works while still a student. In her last year of university, the patterns she designed were exhibited on the podium in Gökhan YAVAŞ's Delivered by DHL Spring/Summer 2019 Collection "IN TOUCH" as part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Istanbul. Ece, who is interested in digital as well as handicrafts, started to work in the field of UX and UI.
Ece, who always thinks that following the new and keeping up with the changing world is a great priority for "development", reflects this thought in her works. While respecting the idea that "Every artist has a signature style", She takes care to produce products in many fields and styles, As she thinks that being stuck in a single style suppresses her creativity. Ece's experience of many different fields of art such as music, ceramics, handicrafts, digital design, 3D are thanks to her desire to add something from all of them lies behind this diversity and search for difference in her works. Yurdakul also trains new students by giving design courses in different branches.
